Is Magnetic Power Generation Just Junk Science

I want to reduce my carbon footprint, but, I must admit that my incentive for reducing my carbon footprint is really a selfish one. I detest paying utility bills, all my utility bills! Our electric bill has more than doubled for our household in the past 10 years, running way ahead of inflation and eating up chunks of our disposable income. No more Disneyworld vacations for a long while to come!

In today's economy some families even have to choose between paying the electric company or not having any lights and, with the threat of Cap and Trade, look for electric bills to shoot up another 30% overnight. What can the average homeowner do that is not so expensive that there is no net savings? You could invest $1,000's in costly solar panels or windmills to transform your home into an energy producing green giant but how many years, if ever, to recoup your investment?

The new technology for homeowners is actually old technology that has been used by big companies for years. It's called a PMG, Permanent Magnetic Generator, or magnetic power generation.

The nature of a PMG, any magnetic power generator in fact, centers on magnetic poles attracting and repelling each other. As children we all played with magnets, right? We saw how amazing this is but, when harnessed into a little device, they create a perpetual motion device that can generate power on their own once the device is set into motion. Perpetual motion simply means the device will keep running until you stop it from running. It can run 24/7/365 with almost no maintenance. This is no longer the junk science it once was. New methods and technology now make it possible for the average do-it-yourselfer to build a homegrown magnetic electric power generator.

How does it generate electricity?

PMG generates alternating current (AC). This is free electricity that will power your home to reduce or eliminate your electric bill. And, if you generate more electricity than you consume, in most states in the U.S.A. the electric company is forced by law to compensate you for the excess power at current market price! Instead of paying the electric company each month you could be getting a check from them or, in some states, a credit applied to your electric bill each month which opens up a whole lot of ideas for some new electric appliances you can add to your home.

You may be surprised to learn that building your own PMG is cheaper and much less complicated than installing solar panels or a wind generator. Not only this, a PMG is not limited by available sunlight or wind so it can be used year-round in any climate on the globe. Magnetic power generators only require a few feet of space so they can be used in any size dwelling.

How much electricity can you expect to produce?

Well, just one PMG can replace the electric output of as many as 6 solar panels and/or one wind turbine which has to be mounted on a expensive tower. Wind and solar units also take expensive wiring or plumbing to make them viable. A permanent magnetic generator, when compared with solar and windmills, is a better bet simply because of the low cost and simplicity of operation. It makes more sense to gamble $100 testing a PMG rather than losing thousands in solar or wind that may not work in your area.

A Sneak Peek Into The Future Smartphones

As the smartphones have started behaving more like laptops, five years down the line, the concept of smartphone is going to change dramatically.

Smartphones have transformed from a simple contact and calendar database to including a camera, streaming-video, GPS, web and thousands of apps available with the touch of a button.

How will smartphones evolve in another five years? What sort of incredible things will they be able to do? Of course, one can expect better displays, faster processors, and more memory space, but tracking the current trends smartphones are going to surpass every expectations of the users.

Lets take a peep into the future to see what the smartphone of tomorrow looks like.

 Flexibility to get new definition

Most likely, the technology inside phones will get smaller and smaller thereby shrinking the weight and size of the devices. However, dont expect microscopic phones to rule market in next five years.

The gadgets, hopefully, will become more flexible. Foldable and dual-screen design are expected to become more prominent that too without any software glitch.

Wearable phones will also start making their way into the market few years from now. We have seen the wristwatch phones but expect the future phones to be more than that. You'll be able to fold, bend and create your phone to whatever shape you prefer. Imagine transforming your phone from a wristwatch/bracelet style to a touchscreen style with a full QWERTY keyboard, and then folding it again to slip it into your pocket.

 NFC: The next major breakthrough

Its just the beginning to see NFC chips in smartphone hardware as well as NFC features packed into software, but you can expect the technology to explode over the next few years.

NFC lets you to make simplified transactions and data exchanges by touching phone to an object or another phone. Presently, Android 2.3 or Gingerbread supports NFC. In fact, Google has massive plans to make NFC active in its next major Android update, known as Ice Cream Sandwich.

Other features that are likely to be present in future phones include faster GPS. GPS will move a step forward by simply going beyond the driving directions. With faster data networks, GPS will be able to offer more-accurate, real-time results regarding traffic, events, weather and so on.

 Heavy-duty chipsets

The future phones will definitely integrate more powerful chipsets. Last week, Qualcomm unveiled its plan to ship 2.5GHz quad-core smartphone processors as early as next year. It is reported that new chipset sports GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio. It also support NFC and LTE networks.

Nvidia too leaked its Tegra roadmap, indicating that its quad-core chips will be five times faster than the existing ones. They will embrace the smartphones as early as the first part of 2012.

 Robust battery life

As the technology will become more mobile, battery life will be of utmost importance. But problem that will remain persistent is that as processors will grow more powerful and more smartphones are switching to LTE technology, phone's battery life will continue to suffer.

Hopefully, scientists will get full-proof solution by the next five years.

Future smartphones will definitely incorporate lot more. Green technology, advanced security features will also find place in the future.

With developers working on the next great mobile technology every other day, awesome mobile technology could be coming down the pipeline anytime soon. See more about this topic on Smartphone News.

The Future of Business Information Technology

Colocation facilities offer many service options for companies of all sizes. These are services that many companies find themselves needing more and more. The other alternative for companies is to setup their own in-house data centers, which can be quite expensive. Large enterprises can usually afford their own private centers whereas small-sized businesses cannot. However, even for large-sized firms, it makes sense to opt for colocation due to the number of benefits it provides.

 What are Colocation Benefits?

When a company decides to opt for colocation, it purchases or transfers all of its server equipment to a facility. A colocation facility has the proper staff to assist with installing these servers. Customers retain complete control over their IT equipment. They can manage it either onsite or remote management via a high-speed Internet connection.

The infrastructure of a colocation facility consists of large servers protected through fire suppression and cooling systems. Servers are installed within racks that are kept in locked metal racks or cages. Colocation facilities also provide both physical and network security. Physical security measures include biometric identification systems at entry point, as well as around-the-clock video surveillance. Network security includes the most comprehensive protection against hackers, viruses, etc. The more advanced the security protocols a facility has, the more expensive the pricing will be.

 Colocation Pricing

Colocation pricing involves considering a number of different factors. Server space is one of them. Server space is measured vertically. There are different types of server manufactures, and each server type has different dimensions. The server's data configuration does not have any impact upon colocation pricing. Providers establish a certain rate that they will charge a single client for the space a server takes.

However, colocation providers consider the amount of data that you are going to transmitting to and from server before charging a specific rate. They may charge a flat monthly rate for bandwidth. They might also charge on a per-use basis or through the 95th percentile monitoring. These charges will vary from provider to provider. However, the more server space a firm requires, the more expensive it will be in general. Nevertheless, compared with setting up a private data center, co-location services are much cheaper. That is why colocation pricing plays a significant role in helping firms realize cost savings.

 Colocation Security

Server security is also another very important factor to consider. There are some firms that have data of an extremely sensitive nature. If not, most companies do not want their equipment or mission-critical data to fall in the wrong hands. For such companies, it is imperative that high security protocols. This includes both the physical security and virtual security of a facility. Since data is being transferred to and from a center, it can be intercepted by hackers. Intrusion protection is accomplished by data encryption, as well as firewalls. Advanced digital security protocols can be pretty expensive. However data security breaches can be much more expensive, so the cost is worth the peace of mind.

Nevertheless, colocation is a much cheaper option as compared to other alternatives. Pricing factors are just a few of the reasons why companies are slowly basing their future growth in such facilities. These companies definitely have a marketplace advantage over those that reject colocation services.

Stanley Keith Guffey believes there are many factors to consider when evaluating Colocation. His articles educate readers about the features that set different data centers apart. Learning how those features dramatically impact cost allows readers to determine whether the provider is worth the price.

These cameras take photos of the floor and ceiling so as to produce the mapping information. The robot can move and rotate the zigzag. Infrared sensors use for detecting objects that are a barrier such as appliances, furniture, or other furniture. So, if the vacuum cleaner is an object hit the wheels will turn in another direction. Hit people? Additionally might not occur. Because he can maintain a snug distance of regarding 1 meter from the man.

A robot vacuum cleaner should be on the side of his back before using it to work properly. Brushes and filters should be cleaned and must get replaced periodically; container conjointly should additionally be emptied frequently. Buy a robot vacuum cleaner that doesn't mean that householders can be exempt from liability and cleanup activities it solely means that the time devoted to these activities will be reduced. With only sixty db noise level, this implies cleaning the floor without disturbing the residents. Uniquely, he could feel the area that has been cleaned, thus that he wouldn't repeat to scrub the same.

The features of these devices can rely on the model of a robot vacuum cleaner that you get. Some robot vacuum can work well on carpets and floors as they will do on the ground with hardwood and will smoothly transition from one surface to a different surface. Clearly, if you are inquisitive about shopping for robotic vacuum cleaner, alter the width of which desires a house, what you've got in your home like carpet or tile solely.
